just wanted to know if this Thule roof rack would fit on a 2004 toyota tacoma, double cab?

The Thule Traverse Roof Rack with the square crossbars, # TH712200, Rapid Traverse Foot Pack, # TH480R and Fit Kit, # THKIT1064, will fit your 2004 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab as long as it has a bare roof. A bare roof will not have a factory roof rack or side rails.
At this time there are no Thule roof rack fits for models with factory side rails. The Thule Traverse roof rack has a maximum weight capacity of 165 lbs. I strongly recommend checking your owners manual or with your local Toyota dealer to verify the weight capacity of your roof. You should not exceed the weight capacity of the lowest rated component.
There a few roof racks from other manufacturers that fit your Tacoma if it has the factory side rails. The Inno system that consists of square crossbars # INB127 and feet # INFR is a fit. As well as the SeaSucker Monkey Bars # 298-SX6000B.
