Will I still be able to lock/unlock with the factory key if the Pop and Lock fails?

Yes, the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL8250-PL9510 just adds the electronic function to your current setup. As long as the tailgate on your 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty has the key location you can still operate the lock manually as well.
