Bike Rack Recommendation that Can Be Used at Rear of Vehicle Being Flat Towed

Question:

We flat tow a Jeep Cherokee behind our RV with a roadmaster Falcon towing system. My Jeep Cherokee has a hitch on the back. Can I put a bike rack on the back of my Jeep Cherokee and transport two bikes that way while traveling vs putting a dual hitch on my RV. The problem we forsee if using a dual hitch is the Falcon tow bar has to be upright to hook up the car so this would mean taking the bikes off the hitch every time we had to hook up the car which involves unscrewing a bolt every time to do that which we would hate.

We do have bike racks that are rated for use in a hitch of a vehicle that is being flat towed like the Yakima LongHaul 4 # Y02476. Not every rack is rated for this application as towed vehicles typically have a slight side to side sway that some bike rack manufacturers have told us will fatigue the welds of racks. The Yakima was reinforced for this so it would work really well.
