Current Draw of Jensen RV Stereo # JWM60A

Question:
Can you please tell me what the current draw is for the JWM60A stereo when in standby mode and when it is on? I am using this unit in a RV camping trailer and I operate on battery only. Please give me your opinion about whether or not I should install an on/off switch to save battery power to avoid a parasitic power draw when the unit is not on?

I reached out to my contact at Jensen and he said the RV Stereo # JWM60A only draws 112 milliamps when it's in standby mode. This is an extremely low power draw (1,000 milliamps is equal to 1 amp) so I don't think you need to add an in-line switch on the power wire to conserve power but you certainly still could if desired.
When it's actually on and being used the stereo draws a maximum of 6 amps.
