When there is no display when you hit the brakes with the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885, that means there is a loss of power or a bad ground. It is likely the ground that is causing the issue, so you will want to verify your ground is connected to bare metal surfaces that are free of any dirt, paint, or rust. I also recommend checking your trailer connectors to ensure there is no corrosion, which may be green or white in color, that is causing connectivity issues.
The ".C" you are referring to, if it is a capital ".C", is an indication that the P2 is in Electric over Hydraulic Mode, if it is a lower-case ".c" it means there is power to the controller and the boost feature is not engaged.
