Will the Shark Fin Antenna Get In the Way of a Kayak Carrier On a 2017 Honda CR-V

Honda CRV 2017 has a Fin on back of roof. I dont know if that can be removed , but it would interfere with any Kayak rack/loading/holder system. Is there a work-around ?

The shark fin antenna on a 2017 Honda CR-V does not appear to be an issue from what I can see. It looks like the antenna is on the back downward sloping portion for the roof and the roof rack installs on the upward sloping part of the roof and then extends up past the roof about 5-6". For a roof rack, I recommend the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbar System part # TH711220, part # TH460R, and part # THKIT3166 if you have flush side rails or the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbar System part # TH711420, part # TH710501, and part # TH145046 if you have a bare roof.
If you take a look at the attached install video on a simailr 2018 model CR-V you will be able to see the height of the roof rack in relation to the antenna. If you were looking for a kayak carrier with load assist, the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier part # TH898 is your best option.
