What Type of Hardware is Used on Mounting Plate of Pro Series Pintle Hook Mounting Plate # 63072

Question:
It doesnt appear there is room on the back of the mounting plate for nuts. Is this safe to rely on the threading of the bolts to handle that kind of weight?

The holes on the mounting plate of the Pro Series Adjustable Pintle Hook Mounting Plate # 63072 are threaded and designed for bolts to attach directly to with hardware size 1/2"-13. I'd recommend Grade 8 hardware in this size and you'd be totally fine!
