Does EZ Connector 7-Way Require Adapter to Install in 2015 Toyota Tacoma
Updated 07/18/2019 | Published 07/16/2019 >
Question:
Is there an adapter kit required to install the EZ Connector on a 2015 Toyota Tacoma? I plan to drill a hole in the bump by the license plate light currently located under the rear bumper.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The EZ Connector Magnetic 7-Way Trailer Connector # 319-R7-05 is designed to be hardwired to a vehicle so there isn't an adapter to allow it to install to your 2015 Toyota Tacoma. You could install it in a hole drilled in the bumper like you mentioned or you could use the included mounting bracket as well.
