Do master keys, which are easily purchased, work on this lock? I need added security for my travel trailer.

The Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit # 295-000019 that you referenced does not use the same standard keys that other RV latches use so you would not have to worry about random people having keys to your RV if you install this in place of what you have now.
