The Curt E5 5th wheel trailer hitch, # C16115, does fit in Reese above the bed rails. I have included a link to the installation details for you.
If you want to go with a Curt installation kit if your 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 does NOT have a Mega Cab, use # C16419-204. If it does have a Mega Cab, use # C16420-204.
