Question:

I have a 2010 xtreme 27 foot with an LC20517 kingpin box. I was looking for the compatible reese goose box. The truck is a 2005 gmc 2500 hd short bed. I was also curious as to whether there are height adjustments on the goose box? Thank you

I was unable to find any reference to an LC20517 pin box but I can tell you that the Reese Goose Boxes do have specific mounting holes they use depending on the pin box they are replacing; if you take a look at the linked installation instructions you can see this.

In regards to the correct one for you, it will depend on what pin box model you have, which should be on a sticker on the pin box itself. If for some reason it is not you can always contact the manufacturer with the serial number and they can tell you what you have.

For Lippert 0719, 1621 and 1621HD pin boxes you will need: Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP85FR

For Lippert 0115, 1116 and 1716 pin boxes you will need: Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP94716-61301 which has a 20,000 lb capacity
