Question:
We locked the bike rack on and now cannot get the lock off to get the rack off, what are we doing wrong? The key turns but the lock end seems to be stuck.

If you leave the hitch lock for the Swagman Dispatch 2 Bike Platform Rack part # S44FR on for too long or there has been dirt that has gotten inside the lock core then there is a possibility that the lock can get stuck. I recommend that you spray some lubricant around the head and then gently hit the head with a hammer to try and break it free while also turning the key back and forth. If all else fails then you will need to drill out the lock or cut off the head. This can then be replaced with the Locking Anti-Rattle, Threaded Hitch Pin part # S64027 but make sure you grease the inside before putting it back on and also take it off every now and then to clean and re-grease.
