Could Reese Goose Box be Used with 2019 Ford F-250 with Short Bed

Question:

I’m will be full time RVing and looking for ease and convenience. Is the Reese Goose Box an option for a 2019 F250, 4x4, Lariat with a 6.75 box to pull a 36’ 16,800 giver trailer? I don’t want to loose my entire truck bed for a fifth wheel hitch and due to injuries will not be able to physically remove the hitch system if I need to use the bed.

The Reese Goose Box solution could possibly work for you but it's going to require the trailer you plan to tow to have a tapered nose to allow the trailer to make tight turns without cab interference and it's going to require the trailer to have a pin box style that we have a Goose Box fit for. Typically for short bed trucks a slider hitch is only way to make tight turns since the noses of campers are pretty wide. But in recent years more trailers are being made to allow for short bed turning clearance without the need for a slider hitch.

So to use a Goose Box we'll need more info. We'll need to find out what pin box model you have on your trailer and also find out what type of nose it has. If you have the very common Lippert 0719 or 1621 the part # RP85FR would be what you'd need or if you have the Lippert 0115, 1116, or 1716 the correct Goose Box is the part # RP94716-61301.
