How Much do the Hyundai Tucson Trailer Hitches Weigh

Question:
Hello to the Experts: I have combed the webpage that has information on the 3 trailer hitches that your company offers for the 2015 Hyundai Tucson. I am considering purchasing a 1500 lb Pro Lite Trailer next summer, but only have a towing capacity of 2,000 with my Hyundai. I would like to know how much weight the trailer hitch will add to my load. Nice video regarding the 3 hitches, by the way. I just wish he had mentioned the weight that the hitches will add. Maybe I missed it.

The really good news is that the weight of the trailer hitch does not count against your towing capacities. Reason being that the hitch basically becomes a part of the chassis of the vehicle according to our hitch manufacturers. That said I'll give you the hitch weights for the 2 inch hitches we offer for your vehicle.
The Curt # C13066 weighs 26 lbs.
The Draw Tite part # 75717 weighs 37 lbs
