I looked up the towing capacity of your 2001 Chevy Suburban and the range I was able to find was between 5,900 and 8,800 lbs total trailer weight depending on how it's equipped so yours would easily be able to tow a trailer that weighs 5,000 lbs.
The Timbren kit part # TGMRYS4 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your vehicle as well. If you were looking to help support the rear suspension when towing this would be a great choice. This will reduce sag when towing which will help with braking and handling.
