Question:
I have a paddle latch with lock but the key seems to be very very common and printing the lock number on it makes it that much easier for someone to get in. Is there a more secure solution ie cylinder lock or magnetic lock to replace this cylinder.

The Replacement Lock Cylinder for UWS Toolboxes w Square Paddle Handles - CH501 # UWSLOCKCH501 is the only real option to keep the lid locked on your toolbox without making any type of modifications. You can keep the toolbox itself safely in your truck with the ToyLok Toolbox Mounted Retractable Cable Lock # LC337120-337117 which gets placed directly in your toolbox.
While this isn't an additional lock for the lid, this does offer added safety from the toolbox being taken as well as a visual deterrent.
