Where Does TorkLift PowerArmor Charger Regulator Install in Battery Box

I would like to install this regulator on a TLA7710RS solar box so the regulator status lights are visible. The instructions say to place this under the solar cell, which will hide the regulator lights. Where should this be mounted so the status lights are visible and it is protected from the weather, if needed.

You'd want to install the 8-Amp Regulator for TorkLift PowerArmor Solar Battery Boxes # TLA7715 to the underside of the TorkLift PowerArmor Solar Locking Battery Box # TLA7710RS. This will allow you to open the lid to view the condition of the batteries and will protect it from elements. The instructions are a bit hard to understand on the underside of the lid is where the regulator needs to go.
