The Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps for RVs # SMFP-4400 that you referenced will fit your 2005 Crossroads Cruiser but at worst might require moving the current brackets, or going a different route all together. You could weld these directly to your trailer frame, or use outriggers # LC301704 to act as new brackets.
The mounting bracket dimensions of this are 28-1/8" wide x 18-1/2" tall x 12" deep.
