Recommended Rooftop Air Conditioner for Cargo Trailer with 2,000 Watt Generator

Question:
What is the best Roof Top AC for my cargo 18foot cargo trailer? I would use a Powerhouse Portable Inverter Generator 2000 surge, 1600 rated. Thanks

The best rooftop air conditioner unit we have for you is going to be the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner part # ACM135C for white or part # ACM135BC for black which puts out 13,500 Btu's. The reason that this is the best rooftop air conditioner is because it comes with a start capacitor. This is going to be needed as it reduces the amount of watts that is required upon startup. If you were not using the start capacitor then you would need a generator that has at least 5,000 watts which means the generator you have now would not be sufficient. However, because it has the start capacitor that then brings the required starting watts down so you can use your Powerhouse Portable Inverter Generator.
