Is it long enough to replace both sides of guard or only one? I need about 8 feet?

The Rubber Strip part # 57-0001 replaces the rubber strip that covers the uprights on your Westin HDX grille guard. As long as you have the HDX Grille Guard this rubber strip is long enough to cover both uprights on the guard.
If you have the Sportsman Grille Guard manufactured after 2012 you need part replacement rubber strip part # 40-1004. The Sportsman Guards manufactured before 2012 did not use the rubber stripping.
