How Should Fulton Marine Grade Carpeting # FCR8012 be Installed

Question:
If the Fulton carpeting can be glued, what type of adhesive do you recommend - if not, what do you recommend to for the back side of a trailer fender skirt

Expert Reply:
Boat bunk carpeting like the # FCR8012 is designed to be glued and stapled for best results. If you decide to use staples, make sure you shoot the staples into the underside of the bunk board so that the boat will not be scratched. A combination of outdoor carpet adhesive and stainless staples would be your best bet. In the picture I attached you can see staples in the back of the carpeting.
