I am looking for a class 1 or 2 hitch with 1.25 inch opening for the 2017 Infinity QX30?

The trailer hitch that I recommend for your 2017 Infiniti QX30 is the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13197. This is a Class III trailer hitch with a 2" receiver that is compatible with both the Sport and non-Sport models of the QX30 Unlike the Draw-Tite # 75223 which is not compatible with the Sport model.

There isn't a 1-1/4" trailer hitch receiver available for your vehicle but even if there was a 2" receiver is the way to go anyways. This is because they typically have higher weight ratings and the larger receiver allow you to use a wider variety of accessories.
