Can the Valterra Happy Hook Anchor Kit for RV Awnings be Used on a Powered Awning

Question:
Can this product be used with powered awning? I was told that an awning tie down would not work.

The Valterra Happy Hook Anchor Kit for RV Awnings # A30-0200 will work just fine with your powered awning. Just be sure to remove the anchor kit before retracting your awning and you are good to go!
Please note that in the attached review/install video we mention that this kit is just used to keep the wind from lifting your awning so you want the kit tight but not so that there is a whole lot of tension on it.
