I have a great solution for you, but you can't use a hitch adapter for your situation as the tongue weight would be far too much for the adapter and hitch to handle. Instead you'd want to install a Class III hitch part # 75132 on your 2003 Ford Explorer below the factory hitch and you'd have a hitch rated high enough for the weight of your carrier and CRF250R. Your AMC400 was replaced by the etrailer # 98873 also.
