Can Curt Breakaway Switch C52010 Be Used with Hopkins Breakaway System

Question:
I broke my current Hopkins switch. Looks identical to this except it has a blue and a black wire and this Curt appears to have two blue wires. This should work with any manufactures system right? All it does is completes the circuit so wire orientation does not matter from my Hopkins to this?

Yes, the Replacement Switch for Curt Soft Trac I and II Trailer Breakaway Kits # C52010 will work for your Hopkins setup. All switches work the same way so all of the brands can have the switches interchange with each other easily.
