For the type of weight that a 5th wheel trailer will be putting on the rear axle of your 2016 Nissan Titan XD I like the capacity and durability of the Timbren Jounce-Style Springs # TNRTTNA. Unlike air springs these also won't require any adjustments or maintenance after the initial installation so you can simply hook a trailer up, load the bed up, or head out on a Sunday drive without having to worry about making the appropriate adjustments on the springs.

It also looks like all of the air bags systems available for your Nissan Titan XD use mounting brackets that will interfere with 5th wheel base rail brackets on the frame rails. This will not be an issue with the Timbren springs that will simply replace the factory bump stops.

These Timbren springs feature a 6,000 pound load-leveling capacity and will do a great job of keeping your truck level and increasing stability when the suspension is under load.
