Question:

I am needing the ladders to be higher than what is shown in the customer picks. I need them to be above the trailer out of the way. Is there any way to extend these to achieve that?

The Pack'Em Ladder Rack for Side Rail of Open Air Trailer - 2 Ladder # PK-28WL2-BMH is 46-1/2" tall x 2" wide x 1" deep, so anything taller would require customization as there isn't an extension designed for this system.

If you want just the holders so you can customize the height, I recommend the Ladder Holder for Pack'Em Towers - Enclosed Trailers and Open Air Trailers # PK-28WL. For additional tower length you can add the Heavy-Duty Towers for Pack'Em Ladder Rack or Rack'Em Blower Rack- Open Air Trailers # PK-BMH which is the same 46-1/2" tall x 2" wide x 1" deep.
