I have a car trailer with Drum surge breaksDoes this electric unit work for a drum brakes also?

The HydraStar Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator w/ Breakaway and 7-Way RV Harness - 1,600 psi # HS381-9067 is designed for disc brakes only. The pressure of this system is far too high for drum brakes so it will not be compatible.
For your car trailer with drum brakes, I recommend the HydraStar Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator w/ Breakaway and 7-Way RV Harness - 1,200 psi # HS381-9066 if the axles are 8,000 lbs or larger. If under 8K axles, then use 1,000 psi # HS381-9065.
