Question:
I am towing a Jayco Humingbird trailer that weiht out at 3500 lbs. Towing with Nissina Frontier rated for 6,000 lbs. Do I need a WD/Sway hitch? If so, what is the best product?

If the trailer you plan on towing weighs more than half of the weight of the tow vehicle or the tow vehicle is experiencing noticeable rear suspension sag we recommend the use of weight distribution. Your trailer weighing 3,500 lbs would be over half the weight of your Frontier so a WD system would be a great idea.
The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup. You should note that the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your vehicle should be considered tongue weight as well. I attached an FAQ on determining tongue weight for you to check out.
Your loaded tongue weight is most likely going to be between 350 and 525 so the best system will be the Strait Line part # RP66082 which has a tongue weight range of 200-600 lbs and features only and best sway control that works to fight sway before it starts.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
