Compatibility of Aluminum Series 6 Wheel with Gladiator ST235/85R16 Tire Load Range G

Question:

Good morning, Is this the proper rim for the Gladiator ST 235/85 R16 tire G 14 ply. Do these rims have part numbers located on them and if so where should I look?. thanks!

The Aluminum Hi-Spec Series 6 Trailer Wheel - 16" x 7" Rim - 8 on 6-1/2 # AM22697 will work well with the tires you referenced but the capacity will be reduced to 3,200 lbs or 6,400 lbs per axle. If you need the capacity to be higher, you will need to use a steel wheel or use the Aluminum Viking Series Valkyrie Trailer Wheel - 16" x 6-1/2" - 8 on 6-1/2 - Black Spoke # AX02665865HDBML for a good look. This wheel has a 4,450 lbs capacity.

I've linked the page to all our options for that wheel size and tire compatibility. The wheel weight capacity will be listed for each product and may be superior or inferior to the weight capacity of the tire. You will be limited by whichever is less.
