I recommend going with a camera that has a longer range like the Swift Hitch Portable Wireless Camera with Night Vision, part # 04928. The Swift Hitch Camera has a transmission distance of up to 300 feet if there are no obstructions. Part # 04928 also has a night vision feature that will come in handy when backing up at night. The other great part about part # 04928 is that the monitor plugs into a 12 volt outlet in the cab of your truck and has a wireless signal.
