Question:

I have a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab with the short bed. I am interested in the Thule TracRac SR with the over cab extender and a trifold hard cover from Bak Industries. Will these two work together so that I could flip open the cover to access the bed when the rack is in use? is the cover going to hit the ladder rack uprights? Im not concerned with using the cover in the upright position folded up to the back of the cab while the rack is used. I just want to flip it open to get stuff out of the back of the truck. Thanks

I have a great solution that will allow you to install the TracRac Over the Cab Ladder Rack part # TH43002XT-782EX on your 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 5-1/2 foot bed and install a BAK tonneau but only the Revolver is guaranteed to fit with the TracRac. For that you'd want the Revolver X4s # BAK25VR. This is a hard cover that rolls up from the end of the truck bed up to the front of it.
