I have a great solution for you but the Inno Gravity Ski and Snowboard Carrier # INXA927 that you referenced only fits Inno aero shaped crossbars and bars with top channels and is no longer made. For a similar ski/snowboard rack that does fit the factory crossbars of your 2018 Subaru Crosstrek we have the Thule SnowPack Ski Carrier part # TH7326 which also can carry 6 skis or 4 boards. It attaches with a rubber coated metal strap. I attached a review video for this carrier for you to check out as well.
