Do You Have Hubs and Brakes Compatible with Dayton Fayette 9349 Axles from 1979 Travel Trailer?

Question:
I have the Dayton Fayette 9349 Axless from a 79 Prowler travel trailer I have converted to a flat utility. The backing plates are welded on the axle, there is not disassembly of the backing plate. Question 1: What does the W1, W2, and W4 cast in the brake drums mean? I have a W1 and a W3 on the left side, and two W2s on the right. I do know that the bolts that attach the rims are left hand thread on the left side of the trailer and right hand on the right.. Question 2: Can you tell me the proper dust cap to fit the hub/drum combo? I have lost two of the originals over time and end up purchasing close and egg shaping them to make them stay for a while. Question 3: Will any 10inch brake assembly fit the backing plate?

I was unable to see the photos you attached as it is blocked by our system but the casting numbers on your hubs are an old system that nobody goes by any longer. The brake assemblies with the welded backing plate have been outdated for decades and we don't have any replacement parts compatible with them. Dexter is the only manufacturer still around that used to do that and they stopped in the mid to late 80's so there aren't replacement parts available.
All is not lost as I can help if you are interested in upgrading your axles. When you upgrade your axles you can update your brakes and hubs to the options currently available so you won't have any improper fits that could cause issues. I've linked the page to all the axle options we carry to assist. You will want to measure from spring seat to spring seat for your leaf spring connection points and then from hub face to hub face so you know the width you desire for frame clearances. We have some axle-less suspension options available for fits that don't have the spring seat locations and hub face dimensions needed for a customizable fit.
