Width of Overhang on Surco Universal Exterior RV Ladder

Question:
How long are the top u-shaped pieces. I need to know how far in from the edge of the roof the attachment points are to match trailer.

The width of the top overhang piece on the RV Ladder # SP502L is 10-1/2 inches but you should also keep in mind that the stand off length is 5 inches so the actual amount it would overhang is 5-1/2 inches.
