A standard golf bag will measure around 50 inches long, 10 inches wide, and 12 inches deep. If this resembles what you have then a great option is the Thule Pulse Rooftop Cargo Box # TH615.
This particular unit features inside (usable) dimensions of 72 inches long, 31 inches wide, and 14-1/2 inches tall. This will provide plenty of room for two standard sized golf bags with some room still for a few extra sleeves of balls (not that you will need them). Its SecureLock design will help protect your investments from theft and the low-profile construction will provide a nice quiet ride during travel. It will look great on your Mazda CX-5 (see attached image).

If you do not yet have a roof rack installed with crossbars that run side to side, please let me know if your CX-5 features factory installed rails that run front to back, flush mounted rails, or a completely naked roof and I will be happy to make a recommendation.
