I recommend the Rhino-Rack aerodynamic Vortex roof rack system for your 2018 Toyota Corolla. It's an aero bar system so it reduces wind noise and it includes locks which is a nice touch over some other systems. I've linked a video from when we installed it on a Corolla like yours, as well as a picture so you can see how it looks. The rack consists of the crossbars # RRVA118B-2, legs # RRRLKVA, and fit kit # DK383.

The legs include locks and the crossbars have plastic locks in the endcap. If you want to change out the plastic cores for metal cores use part # RRVA-LEC4.

If you're looking for a roof basket on the Corolla the Yakima LoadWarrior, part # Y07070, fits the Rhino-Rack system. A basket is less secure than a box but it gives you more room and options of gear to store since it's not contained.
