Question:

We have DM7007 towmatic tow bar and baseplate 9518119 For our Chevy Trailblazer we need adapter to hook baseplate to towbar?Not sure what we need to make this happen.

We do have the adapter part # RM-038 from Roadmaster that allows you to retain the use of your tow bar. If you haven't already installed the Demco base plate kit # DM9518119 on your 2008 Chevy TrailBlazer then you can use the Roadmaster adapter with base plate kit # 3155-1 (DISCONTINUED) if you have the SS model or part # 3109-1 if you don't have the SS model.

It would honestly just be easier to swap out your older tow bar for one that is a little more up to date. I recommend the Blue Ox Adventurer Tow Bar # BX7322 which is a ball mount style like your Towmatic II and is compatible with your Classic base plate kit. You will also need safety cables like # RM-643.
