Question:
temperature of the heating element of the hose and is it noticable in the water coming out of the facet
asked by: Kickstand
Expert Reply:
The AquaFresh heated supply hose, part # W01-5325, doesn't actually heat the water. It just keeps it from freezing.
There isn't an actual temperature the heating element gets to. It's 150 watts running through the heating source and gets hotter as the ambient temperature drops. It begins running between 45 and 50 F degrees and has been tested to keep water from freezing in temperatures as low as -15 degrees F.
The hose is also available as a 15 foot hose, part # W01-5315, and a 50 foot hose, part # W01-5350.
