we're soon taking delivery of our 2019 CR-V that will have the type of roof that has flush rails on the sides. we have a kayak carrier and may get one of the plastic cargo carriers in the future. what rack can we use?

I recommend the Thule WingBar Evo Podium rack in black finish, parts # TH711220, # TH460R and # THKIT3166. This quiet aero style rack is shown in the linked video.
You might want a small accessory step like the Telesteps # TE97FR to make it easier to get to the roof for loading and unloading.
