The rhino 2500, according to the website fits the 2010 GTI. Is 46inch what I am rally looking for? If it is, what bycicle tray would you recomend me to get for it?

The Rhino Rack DK Clamps and Pads, # DK064 does fit a 2011 Volkswagen GTI 3-door model. You would also need to add the crossbars, like # RRVA118B-2, which are 44 inches long. We have a lot of roof rack options for the GTI. I have included a link to them for you. For the Rhino-Rack roof rack you would also need foot pack # RRRLKVA.
For a bike rack, the Yakima Forklift, # Y02098, will fit on bars up to 3-7/8 inches wide and 1-7/8 inches tall. The Rhino Rack bars listed above are 3-1/2 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches tall. I have included a link to the installation details for the bike rack, the bars, and the clamps and pads for you to view.
