Installation of Bestop Duster Deck Cover on 1996 Geo Tracker

Question:
Hi, I am looking at a Bestop Duster Deck Cover for Geo, Suzuki 1995-1998 - Black for my Geo Tracker primarily to use for winter storage. I no longer have my tailgate window retainer and clips. Are they necessary? Can you offer a solution if they are needed for proper fit of the cover? Await your advice.

The Bestop Duster Deck Cover for Geo, Suzuki 1995-1998 - Black Denim # B9002915 does require the retainer clips for installation. I reached out to my contact at Bestop and they said you will need those clips and they do not have a solution other than to replace them and unfortunately we do not have them. They are easy to find and will make this cover an easy installation as you can see from the attached instructions.
