It sounds like you need replacement lids for the roof vents on your 1979 Avion travel trailers.

We offer many replacement vent lids in both metal and plastic and in a variety of colors. Most roof vents in RVs are a standardized 14 x 14 size. These can come with any one of four different types of hinge and you'll want to take note of the hinge style on your trailers before selecting replacements. I reviewed photos of 1970s Avion trailers but I could not confirm the type of vents installed.

To help you I linked a photo showing each of the four hinge types: 3-point, 4-point, plastic continuous and metal continuous hinges. One you confirm your vent dimensions and which hinge type they have you can use the linked page that shows all options we carry. The item you referenced in your question, Ventline lid # BBC-0530-04, is a continuous metal hinge type in blue/grey plastic color.

In the vent that we do not have the lids for your specific vents we can still help you with complete new vent assemblies that include the vent with mounting flange, lid and manual crank for operation. All complete manual roof vents such as # V2092SP-28 appear on the other linked page.

We also offer vent installation kit # 344270KITW.
