Head/Height Adjustment for B&W Companion for 2018 Ram 3500 with Rail Kit

Question:

For my 2018 Ram 3500 I like the Companion hitch but I want to know what the different height range options are and how to I pick which one.

For your 2018 Ram 3500 with a factory rail kit the height range of the Ram Companion Hitch # BWRVK3600 is 17 to 19 inches measured from the floor of the truck bed. You pick the height based on what allows the trailer to be towed level and still allows you at least 6 inches from the bed rails to the trailer overhang.

The forward to back positions of the arms is to allow you more clearance between the truck cab and nose of the trailer.
