Back Up Camera for Making Backing Trailer Up Easier
Published 10/10/2018 >
Question:
Good morning We have a small 16’ Hybrid travel trailer that we purchased now that I am retired to visit our children and grandchildren combination travel trailer pop-up that we pull with our 2012 Toyota Sienna. Equipped with all of the towing accessories from etrailer and at 2900lbs, it towed like a dream. Being new to towing a camper, I must admit that backiyup is a real challenge. That being said what reasonably priced back-up camera system can you suggest that would help me backing into the campsites at the campgrounds we visit?

Backing up a trailer can be pretty challenging! Especially if you have to turn the trailer as you are backing up. A camera system like the Swift Hitch Extended Analog Camera for Hitch Alignment Camera # SH02DIGITAL would work well to give you and additional view as you back the trailer up but the biggest thing is just practicing reversing the trailer. I've found that if you can get the trailer as close to pointing the right direction as possible while driving forward and then straightening out before you begin to back the trailer up you'll have an easier time with it.
