What is the Battery Life for the RVS Wireless Hitch Camera with Magnetic Mounting

Question:
Regarding the RVS87FR camera with its stand alone battery, what is the realistic battery life once fully charged and put in use? I am looking for a wireless system that does not involve a cell phone or drilling any holes in the trailer or truck. I have a 22 foot Nash travel trailer so the 70 foot reception should not be an issue. I am mostly wanting to use it for road travel and backing into a camping spot. I will probably use it to hitch up also since it is so easily moved. Battery life on a full charge is my biggest question. It would be nice to see more independent units like this on the market. Any other recommendations for stand alone units like this one? Thanks for being such a great supplier.

Hey Allan, thanks for reaching out!
The RVS Wireless Hitch Camera # RVS87FR has a 2100mAh battery and max consumption is 480mA so we're looking at just over 2 hours of continuous battery life, so this will be more than enough for hitching up and backing into your camping spot as well. The camera also charges via a USB connection so it wouldn't be hard to charge it at the campsite if you forgot to shut it off and the battery were drained.
If you wanted something with a longer battery life, then I recommend checking out the Swift Hitch Digital Wireless Hitch Alignment Camera and Monitor # SH02Digital. The monitor isn't as impressive on this system, but it does have a much longer battery life at 8 hours so that's the tradeoff.
