I want to attach 20# external tank to my Hymers quick connect outlet for extended stays.

Are you wanting to add an external tank to the propane tank of your Hymers camper to act as an additional propane source for the camper? For that you would want the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting w/ Hoses for POL Valve # 103539-MBS which is designed for allowing a camper to have an additional propane source for appliances that require propane. If you use this tee you'll be able to use the quick disconnect fittings of the included valves to connect ot the quick disconnects you have which will make for a simple connection.
