Question:
I also purchased the 4- way plug from you guys that plugs in behind the bumper, but Im getting no power out of the plug. Got to doing some research and do I have to buy another kit to get power to the plug that was already there from the factory or is there something else I need to check?

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # 56073 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2005 Ford Freestar only if it has the factory tow package. If you aren't getting any power at all to the connector then it's very possible that your vehicle is not equipped with the needed tow package wiring to power the factory connector behind the rear bumper so you'd need to go with # C56673 instead.
You can try testing the factory connector on the Freestar with the Curt harness removed to verify this. Use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to test the pins while you have somebody run through the lighting functions on the vehicle. If you don't get any power at the plug, then you likely do not have the tow package. You can try taking your Freestar up to a local Ford dealer to see if they can activate the tow package plug.
I have attached an installation video that you can use for reference.
