The Thule UpRide Roof Bike Rack # TH599000 referenced in your question uses a front stainless steel strap and a rear bracket to clamp around roof rack crossbars. This mounting hardware will work just fine with the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA118B-2 that you are installing on your vehicle. You will not need to add any type of adapter to make these two components compatible. They will work perfectly together.
