Question:
What is the 2 inch ball torque for installation on the Reese RP66557? There is no torque in the instructions. Can the Reese hitch part number RP66557 be ordered with the 2 inch ball part number 63845 installed and torqued?

The Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # 66557 is not able to come with the hitch ball installed and torqued. You would then need the 2" Hitch Ball - 1" Diameter x 2-1/8" Long Shank - Chrome - 7,500 lbs # 63845 which would need to be torqued to 250 ft/lbs as stated in the product description. It is a 1-1/2 inch nut so you can use a socket or wrench like # C20001. Most torque wrenches don't go to that spec, so you simply need to make sure the lock washer is completely flat to ensure your hitch ball is properly installed.
If you need a system that is already installed and torqued, we have the Husky Center Line Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # HT32215 which is rated for a total tongue weight between 400 and 600 lbs. This total tongue weight is the loaded trailer tongue weight along with any cargo behind the rear axle of the towing vehicle. That combination needs to fall within that range for the system to work as designed.
